Krankem Brand Design and Packaging

Krankem is a powersports brand that specializes in snowmobile and ATV (dirt) accessories that launched in 2024. They wanted a fresh identity that captures the thrill and adrenaline of hitting the trails, whether on snow or mud.

Brand Concept & Strategy

Define Your Ride became the central statement for Krankem, serving as a rallying cry for riders passionate about customizing and upgrading their machines. Everything—from the logo, to color palette, to visual treatments—needed to communicate high-octane energy, ruggedness, and the spirit of adventure.

Adrenaline & Adventure

  • The brand aims to connect with enthusiasts who crave the rush of speed and extreme terrain.

  • Visuals focus on the power and grit of motor sports, reflecting real-life conditions of snow and mud.

Logo Development

We created a bold, modern wordmark that feels sturdy and energetic—mirroring the nature of the product line. The stylized “K” in “Krankem” subtly references movement and mechanical geometry:

  • Industrial Geometry: Angular edges and thick line weights convey a sense of strength.

  • Forward Motion: Slanted letterforms evoke speed and progress.

  • Snow/Dirt Icon: A symbol that doubles as a snowflake or gear shape (depending on orientation) helps unify the brand’s two areas of focus.

Color Palette & Typography

Vibrant Green takes center stage to deliver a punch of energy against dark grays and blacks. This green—paired with high-contrast white—ensures maximum readability and a pop of color that stands out in harsh environments.

Typography: A bold, extended sans-serif typeface for headlines exudes power and stability, while a clean sans-serif in lighter weights for body copy keeps text legible and modern.

Packaging Design

The packaging needed to be practical, easy to stack, and eye-catching in a crowded retail setting. We opted for natural kraft boxes to reduce cost and environmental impact, while letting the brand’s signature green label instantly identify Krankem products.

Bold Labels

  • Oversized color blocks with the snow/dirt icon and product name (e.g., “Front Bumper Matrix”) create immediate visual interest.

  • “SNOWMOBILE” or “DIRT” clarifies which market the product targets.

Minimalist Approach

  • High-contrast printing of the Krankem logo around the sides.

  • Simple but impactful typography ensures brand recall from any angle.
