Banff Canmore Foundation

Website Re-design

In the Fall of 2023 The Banff Canmore Foundation was going through a rebrand and needed a to launch a new website that encapsulated the essence of the new brand inspired by the majestic, life-giving and ever-evolving Bow River”. Lyuba was contracted with this project. She collaborated with a web designer - Alison Harwood and web developer - Shawn Wernig. Lyuba was the main point of contact, project manager, creative director and main designer. The full services of the project that Lyuba assisted with included consulting, content organization, strategic planning, user experience, user interface development, stock image sourcing and graphic assets creation

Lyuba guided the visual direction of the site, ensuring that every aspect of the user experience and user interface reflected the essence of BCF’s mission. One of the key challenges faced by the team was integrating BCF’s existing photography with stock imagery in a way that maintained a cohesive visual narrative. Lyuba developed a system of collages and templates to be used as visual elements across the site and guide users through the narrative of BCF’s programs and mission. This comprehensive approach ensured that the final website was not only visually in line with BCF’s new brand but also functional, easy to manage and update internally, easy to navigate, and capable of delivering a narrative experience to users.

After the launch, BCF has seen and increase in user visitors, engagement and donations.
